The JDA MM610i flange facing machine is specially designed to restore or machine flange sealing surfaces for achieving the high accurate sealing performance required by industrial standards in on-site machining applications.
The typical types of flange sealing faces include O ring, raised face (RF face), V groove, ring type joint groove (RTJ groove), flat face (FF face), spiral serrated face, and other flange sealing faces in pipeline systems, water treatment, refinery plants, oil and gas industry, petrochemical plants, valve fabrication or repair industry, and so on.
The flange sealing performance reliability is critical for these environments. It will lead to costly economic losses, environmental damage, and safety problems if there have a failed sealing problem.
Our MM610i portable flange facing machine is able to easily handle the above sealing issues with facing diameter capacity from 50 mm to 610 mm ( 1.96 to 24 inch ). It is equipped with a full set of assembly including machine spindle, rotation cutting arm, balance counterweight, power unit, air lubrication unit ( pneumatic type only ), mounting bases, support legs, feed lead screws and other accessories.
It adopts a field-ready design suitable for harsh environments that only assembles the mounting base and support legs together before starting to machine the flange sealing surface in situ. Its advanced design greatly simplifies the installation process and reduces installation difficulty.
Our MM610i flange facing machine is mounted by expanding and clamping inside the flange bore for ensuring stable and precise machining. It is able to be mounted in flange bore diameters ranging from 50 mm to 558 mm ( 1.96 to 21.96 inch ) by the different mounting bases and support legs.
The overall structure of the portable flange facer machine is compact and lightweight. Its operating weight is only 43 KG. One operator is capable of installing and completing flange sealing surface repair with ease on site in the limited clearance areas, whether the pending repair flange are in a vertical, overhead or horizontal position.
There have three power options for MM610i flange facing machine. They are electric, pneumatic, and servo. Its versatile power options make it possible to work in a variety of environments. The servo and electric motor is suitable for on site flange facing repair in regular industries. It is a cold cutting flange resurfacing machine. The pneumatic motor makes it sense for in situ flange machining repair in the flammable and explosive environments including oil, refinery, gas and petrochemical industries.
