Mobile Line Boring Bore Repair Restoration Process:

1. Bore Condition Inspection

Inspect worn, deformed, or elliptical holes, measure original hole diameter, degree of wear, and concentricity deviation, confirm repair plan

2. Equipment Setup & Alignment

Install the portable boring machine on the part to be repaired, and use the mounting kit support and centering system to make precise alignment to ensure that the boring bar is coaxial with the original hole axis.

3. Pre-Machining If Required

If the hole is severely worn or deformed, preliminary repair or pre-machining can be carried out to create a stable benchmark for subsequent welding repair or finishing.

4. Optional Bore Welding or Material Build-Up

For worn holes with excessive tolerances, the bores is restored by overlay welding or internal hole welding repair to prepare for restoring the original dimensions.

5. Precision Line Boring

Portable boring machines are used for precision boring to gradually restore the hole diameter, roundness, and surface finish for achieving the original tolerances.

6. Coaxial Alignment Machining for Multiple Bores

When multiple bores are involved, repair them simultaneously and ensure coaxiality between the holes to avoid assembly stress and secondary wear.

7. Final Measurement & Quality Check

The diameter, roundness, and concentricity of the repaired holes are then subjected to final testing to confirm that they meet the assembly and usage requirements.

8. Component Reassembly

After the inspection is completed, the pins, bushings and other components can be installed directly on site, and the equipment can be back to operation.
