The JDA PL2000 mobile milling machine is designed for on-site linear milling, surface milling, weld seam removal, heat exchanger split groove, pump base, and equipment mounting surface machining, etc.. It provides an efficient, reliable, and precise solution for linear milling machining flat surfaces directly at the job sites without excessive dismantling or transporting heavy equipment to maintenance and repair shop.
Its milling arm is made of superior materials for reducing own weight as much as possible, while maintaining the sufficient strength for heavy load milling operations. The feature minimizes the difficulties of hoisting, installation, and operation as much as possible.
The PL2000 mobile milling machine is designed with milling stroke in length 2000 mm (78.7 inches). The shorter or longer milling stroke length can also be accepted according to customers requirements. Its milling arm is also compatible with our portable gantry milling machine. Its versatile machining functions include milling plat surfaces, flatness restoration, and keyway milling operations.
The portable linear milling machine consists of six main modular components including milling arm, milling spindle head, automatic feed system, drive motor (hydraulic or servo), power unit, electrical box (servo drive only), and mount base. The on site machinists are capable of finishing mount and starting milling operations within one hour, subjecting to the complexity of on site job sites and machinists' experience.
There have four mount base included in the parts list of the PL2000 mobile milling machine. The on site machinists are able to mount the milling machine by bolts. And the mount base has an adjustable level function. The function ensures the on site machinists to perform fine adjustment level the machine after it is mounted on the work-piece.
There have two options of milling spindle head: #40 and #50. #40 milling spindle head can hold maximum face milling cutter 200 mm (7.8 inches) in diameter. And #50 milling spindle head can hold maximum face milling cutter 250 mm (9.8 inches) in diameter.
